Advanced Metering Infrastructure Conversion
Utility conversion of customer meters to advanced metering infrastructure for remote meter reading.

September 3, 2025 AMI conversion update
A new AMI base station was installed on the City Hall roof to improve readings for difficult-to-reach meters. Staff anticipated converting an additional 4,000 meters by the end of 2025, with remaining difficult meters addressed in 2026. Delays were attributed to meter supply-chain issues and a shift of remaining work from a contractor to City staff.
