November 6, 2024 update
BAWSCA stated that ongoing demand modeling will incorporate rate elasticity and expanded drought sensitivity analysis to inform alternative-supply investment decisions. The Commission began its discussion with SFPUC regarding the plan's rationale, approach, and design-drought planning. Presentation stated that purified-water projects will continue to be pursued; a purified-water program manager will be hired. Los Vaqueros Reservoir expansion was described as unlikely to proceed, and the Daly City recycled-water expansion may be removed because of limited benefit relative to cost.
