    Council received an informational report on the plan and an associated Utilities Advisory Commission letter concerning future water supply and conservation planning.

    Staff stated that the plan was expected to go to the SCAP committee on September 19, with potential subsequent council review.

    Staff presented the 2025–2045 plan, including trigger-based reconsideration of alternatives. Staff said enhanced conservation measures warrant further evaluation and that enabling blending of emergency groundwater wells with SFPUC water is planned but not yet in financial plans.
