Nature Connectivity Ad Hoc Committee Efforts
A sustained Parks and Recreation Commission Ad Hoc effort to strengthen biodiversity, pollinator habitat, and ecological connectivity across Palo Alto’s park system.

July 28, 2026 update
The Ad Hoc reviewed local plans, including the Comprehensive Plan, parks master plan, Sustainability and Climate Action Plan, Green Stormwater Infrastructure Plan, and Urban Forest Master Plan. It reported that its remaining work includes developing native-plant guidance, program-level recommendations, and alignment opportunities with related City efforts.
