Renovation of the dog park, including a large-dog area and a new smaller-dog area.

Staff reported that four additional benches were installed in the large or mixed-use dog park and three benches were installed in the small dog park.

Staff reported grading, installation of 13 native trees, decomposed-granite surfacing, and initial fencing. Site amenities and turf work remained.

Construction began with removal of existing fences, benches, and a message board. A construction fence was installed, and tree pruning and brush clearing were completed in advance of new work. The dog park is closed during construction; both dog areas are expected to open together.
